And, with my flame suit on, I must say, that’s a stellar looking car. While the X6 is just too fussy and overcomplicated to me, the GLE actually pulls off the whole SUV coupe thing well. Reminds me of a lifted four door S-Class coupe. Which is not a bad thing, at all.

And they make a nice noise.

Would I buy it over something like a Range Rover Sport? Absolutely fucking not. But I like it.

It’s not for me, but the second I win the lottery I’m buying one for my partner. It’s exactly the kind of vehicle he would love, though I think he might rather have an X6.

Agreed. I dislike the stupid thing on principle. But I will reluctantly admit that I think they look good, even though I don’t think they should look good.

There’s one that I always see near me (owner of a small business) and I must say I agree. It pulls off the look while the X6 doesn’t.

I don’t like it per se, but I don’t think it’s as ugly as the X6. Truth be told, it works well.

I remember thinking it was weird when I read about the coupe-SUV explanation but I ALWAYS stare at one when I see it on the road.

It's not a coupe, but I have seen a few of these on the road and really like them. The x6 always looks like an afterthought or a marketing gimmick to me.
